Formaldehyde theory of carcinogenesis

In this paper was first proposed the hypothesis: formaldehyde is a carcinogen (endogenous carcinogen), it accumulates in cells with a decrease in oxidative phosphorylation in the aging process and plays a role in epigenetic regulation and malignant degeneration of cells.
